InLastor in Action
Just imagine - or see the demonstrations!
To get a feel for what we actually can do with our PolyPower film and InLastor elements; have a look at the below videos:
For more videos, see also what students have accomplished with the PolyPower technology.
Dosing Pump and Valve Concept:
|
Dosing Pump:
- Unique digitial dosing pump concept
- Adjustable stroke and frequency
- Noiseless
|
Valve:
- Controlled opening and closing characterics
- Low energy consumption, as no holding current
- Proportional actuation possible
- Noiseless
|
InLastor Sensor:
- Long strain sensor
- Large capacitive change
- High resolution
Enabling Energy Harvesting:
- Simple demonstration of how mechanical energy is converted to electrical energy
- Demonstration proves that the voltage increase significantly when the DEAP film is relaxed. This voltage can be harvested
Long Sheet Actuator:
- New type of PolyPower DEAP film which is uni-directional in length direction
- Enabling building of very long actuators
- Allows for long absolute elongation
10 kg Pull InLastor:
- Only 160g of active PolyPower material lifting 10 kg load
- 4 Pull Inlastor actuators, pre-streched 10%
- Frequency of 3 Hz, up to 13 mm stroke
10 kg Push InLastor:
- Clearly demonstrates the power and force of the technology
- Operates at 8 Hz with an amplitude of 5 mm @ 1800V
- InLastor Push has a height of 240 mm and diameter of 60 mm
Stereo Loudspeaker:
- One layer of film shaped around a cylindrical structure in each end
- The PolyPower film enables loudspeakers with new designs; round, flat and/or hidden in interior
Pump:
- Modified membrane pump
- Opreates at 8 Hz
- Flow rate of 6 l/h
Weighing Scale:
- Simple use of the film as sensors allows for innovative new ways of designing scales
- Example demonstrates simple scale
Damper:
- Two InLastor Pull actuators control a damper function in an air duct
- To be applied in ventilation systems
Controlled on/off regulation of a water valve:
- Reduces pressure peaks
- Low energy consumption, as no holding current
- Proportional actuation possible
- Noiseless
