Danfoss PolyPower A/S has launched its innovative EAP technology. Imagine a smart DEAP film with the ability to actuate, sense and convert energy. What if it were already manufactured on an industrial scale and ready to be embedded in your application?
The PolyPower EAP technology is just that: The lightweight and elastic capacitive polymer film (PolyPower DEAP film), and the intelligent elements made from it – InLastor® actuators, sensors and energy converters – are flexible and silent in operation, facilitating development of innovative and competitive products across a wide range of applications.
The vast potential of the EAP technology lies in developing novel applications, and Danfoss PolyPower A/S therefore collaborates in transforming the smart DEAP film into innovative products. Focus is particularly directed towards designing and developing products within energy harvesting, adaptive airfoils, valves and pumps, and remedial products.
